Pack it so nothing shifts en route — and for a RAID or NAS, pull the disks yourself and label each with its bay position, leaving the controller and enclosure at home.
Our engineers inspect the drive to establish precisely what's failed and what's recoverable — kept read-only behind a write-blocker while we read its SMART data, check the heads and service area, and examine the file system. With the quote approved, recovery starts — a read-only, sector-by-sector image of the drive (any physical or firmware faults mended first), skirting bad sectors and coming back to them last, so all the work that follows runs on the copy, never the original. From that image we rebuild the file system, piece the RAID or NAS array back together from its member disks, or carve the files out directly where the structure has gone. All of it happens in-house with our own engineers; your drive and data never leave our hands.
