Healthcare & patient data

Data recovery for healthcare providers.

Little data is more sensitive than patient records, and being locked out of them can halt a practice entirely. Working from Guildford, our healthcare data recovery covers practices, clinics and care providers throughout Surrey and the wider UK — handled on our own bench by our in-house team, with the confidentiality and UK data residency health records call for. Your patients' records stay within Britain.

// what we recover

The healthcare data we recover.

Whether it's a surgery's patient database or a clinic's imaging archive, we recover it on our own bench, in confidence.

01

Practice & patient systems

The local servers and databases underpinning patient-management and clinical-record systems — SystmOne, EMIS, Vision and similar — recovered off the underlying array and repaired so the database mounts cleanly.

02

Patient records & documents

Letters, scans, documents and patient files stuck on failed drives, servers and NAS units — recovered with the file metadata and folder structure intact.

03

Clinical & imaging data

Scans and imaging stored as DICOM studies across PACS stores, practice servers, NAS or external drives — recovered study by study, the image data and its metadata preserved.

04

Care & pharmacy records

Systems and records for dental surgeries, pharmacies, care homes and private clinics, taking in the SQL or embedded databases behind practice-management and dispensing software.

05

Clinical databases

SQL Server and other clinical databases — repaired at page level and replayed from their transaction logs so the database returns consistent, not merely copied off

06

Backups & archives

Backup drives and archived patient data that have stopped reading.

// data residency

Your patient data stays on UK soil.

With health data, its destination matters. Where some recovery firms ship drives off to overseas labs, we don't. Every healthcare recovery stays with our own team on British soil, and your patient data is never routed abroad or passed to a third party. That keeps it within UK jurisdiction and your own GDPR footing clean, with chain-of-custody records on hand for your files.

01

Get in touch

Reach us by phone or email with the fault — we'll point out the safest next step.

02

Free diagnostic

Bring the device in by appointment or post it insured; we confirm what's recoverable.

03

Written quote

Before any chargeable work begins, a fixed written price and a turnaround.

04

Recover & verify

Recovery happens in-house; we confirm the results and return them on new encrypted media or via secure download.

For a NAS or server: extract the disks, tag each by its bay position, and send the drives alone — each disk is imaged read-only and the set reassembled virtually, leaving your data untouched.
On-site recovery and collection aren't offered. Drop drives off by appointment, or post them fully insured on a tracked service.

// sending your device in

Two easy steps.

Send your device in for a free diagnostic and tell us a bit about what happened — an engineer reviews it and confirms your exact quote in writing before any work begins.

1

Send us your device

Recovering your data starts with getting the device to us. Pack it securely, slip your contact details inside, and send it in — once the free diagnostic is done, we confirm your exact price in writing before any work starts.

How to pack it
  • Box the device up in a small, sturdy carton or a padded envelope.
  • You can leave out caddies, cables and power supplies — none of them are needed for the recovery.
  • Pop your details inside — name, address, phone and email, on a slip of paper or via our shipping form — and seal it up.

// faq

Frequent questions.

Quick answers to what we're asked most.

Completely. UK GDPR places health data in its special category, and that's how we treat it — the work touches only our own in-house team, an NDA is there for the asking, and nothing travels beyond Britain.

It doesn't. Healthcare jobs are worked entirely on our own UK bench; nothing goes overseas or to any outside lab, so everything stays inside UK jurisdiction.

We are. ICO registration is in place alongside compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; health data is handled at special-category level; and chain-of-custody records can be provided for your files.

Generally, yes. We recover and repair SQL Server and other clinical databases — the underlying array is rebuilt where required, then the database is mended at page level and its transaction logs replayed, so it opens clean and consistent instead of being lifted off as-is.

No — neither on-site work nor collection is something we offer. Bring drives in by appointment, or post them fully insured. With a NAS or server, take the disks out and send those by themselves.

That hangs on the device: £300 for single drives, from £500 for RAID and NAS, from £500 for databases — each plus VAT, after a free diagnostic and a written quote. No fix, no fee on the majority of jobs.

Yes — from our Guildford base we recover clinical and patient records for surgeries, clinics and care providers throughout Surrey and beyond. Arrange a drop-off at the Guildford Business Park point, or post your device fully insured; either way, patient records stay in Britain.
